Overview

Intimidate lowers the Attack of adjacent opposing Pokémon when the bearer enters the field.

Adjacent opposing Pokémon.A target behind Substitute does not lose an Attack stage.
Effect
Each valid target loses one Attack stage.

Example

Setup: Arcanine with Intimidate switches in next to a foe that has no Substitute.

Outcome: That foe loses one Attack stage. The same foe behind Substitute keeps its Attack.
